Instruction Manual for SOLDRON 8858 Micro Hot air
Soldering Station
This state of the art micro hot air station has all the features and specifications to match and
beat larger and more space consuming hot air blower units. Save space and look good
soldering!
WARNING:
Always use in a safe and stable environment, while wearing appropriate safety gear. The blower
gets very hot and direct contact with any surface skin and otherwise should be avoided.
Always switch off the unit when not in use.
Always keep away from children
This product is only intended for use with electronic and electrical purposes, by professional and
trained personnel.

Assembly instructions:

1. Place the blower handle into the provided cradle
2. Plug in the blower wire into the control unit
3. Plug in the provided mains wire and switch the mains on
4. The 7 segment display will light up with 3 horizontal lines
5. You are now ready to operate the unit

Operational Instructions:

1. Press the setup button to toggle the mode
2. There are 2 modes:
a. Fan Mode - Signified by FXX (Where XX range is 01-10) This is what changes
the fan speed by pressing the up and down buttons

b. Temperature mode - Signified by 3 digit number (Range 100-480 Degrees C.)

3. Once the required above settings have been set, you may initiate use of the blower by
taking it carefully off the cradle.
F05-F10 for temperature set above 300 Degrees C.
F01-F05 speeds may be used for temperatures ranging from100 Degrees
to 299 Degrees.
This can be changed using the up and down buttons
