INTERMITTENT
PROBABLE CAUSE
Over tightening
Axle alignment
Broken or bent springs or equalizers
Axles not parallel
Axle to control valve linkage
Height control valve internal leak
Axle to control valve linkage
Height control valve filter plugged
Pressure protection valve filter plugged
System air pressure low (65 PSI minimum
required)
Linkage adjustment
Exhaust port plugged
Height control valve internal leak
Supply line to one height control valve
pinched, restricted, or plugged
PROBABLE CAUSE
Brake air system improperly connected
Relay/Emergency valve plugged
Defective tractor protection valve
Restricted tubing or hose line
Broken line
Tractor air system failure
TROUBLESHOOTING
SOLUTION
Use correct torque when mounting (See
"Standard Specifications" on
page 2-1.)
Re-align axle (See "Axle Alignment" on
page 4-12.)
Replace defective parts
Realign axles
Readjust linkage
Repair or replace valve
Readjust linkage
Clean or replace valve
Clean or replace valve
Troubleshoot air supply
Readjust linkage
Clean or replace valve(s)
Repair or replace valve
Repair or replace line
SOLUTION
Reconnect hand valve properly
Clean valve
Repair or replace
Locate and eliminate restriction
