Automatic mode
Touch the
sensor on your hob and
speed indicator. Now fan speed will be adjusted automatically based on
the heat setting of the individual cooking zones. In automatic mode,
the kitchen hood lighting turns on and you can turn it off using the sen-
sor on your kitchen hood.
Remote control
Your kitchen hood is equipped with a remote control. It is shown in
Figure 4b and below:

Use remote control to control your kitchen hood. To do this, point the
remote control toward the front of the hood and select the desired
function:
1 — Reduce fan speed
2 — Increase fan speed
3- Battery tray
4 — Off-timer, for description refer to the previous page.
5 — Turn lighting on/off The lighting operates independently of hood
fan.
6- Set the warm light temperature
7- Set the cold light temperature
When purchased, battery is not included with the remote control. You
can purchase a single 3V CR2025 battery in any electronics store.
To replace the battery, slide out the tray (item 3 in the figure) on the
bottom edge of the remote control. Place the battery in the tray ob-
serving polarity. Slide the tray back in.
The radio remote unit pairing mode
To activate the pairing mode hold down the ""1"" and ""2"" keys for 3
seconds when the fan is off. The held keys will start flashing. The radio
remote unit pairing mode is activated for 60 seconds or until the unit is
paired successfully. To pair the remote control, press any key on the re-
mote control. Pairing is indicated by the lighting of the ""1"" and ""2""
keys for 3 seconds. Upon pressing a key, the corresponding assigned
response will be triggered.
