Close the compar tment
door, and slide it to the front
of the grip until it clicks.

Turn on the camera power,
and make sure the grip's
control lock switch is in the
unlocked position.

Note: When removing the grip,
turn off the camera's power, lock
the grip's control lock switch, and
then remove the batteries.
