until it runs out of the top control hole
when the machine is placed in horizontal position.

Operation and adjustment:

Operation:
The Hobby 500 cultivator is intended for use in vegetable
gardens and flower beds. It can also be fitted with various
accessories for a number of different uses.
Read the motor manual carefully, especially the part
about starting and stopping. To start the motor, give full
throttle, pump the choke and pull on the start cord until
the motor starts.
When the gear lever on the right side of the handle is
pressed down, the rotor blades begin to turn. It is
important to press the lever all the way down, i.e. towards
the handle, to ensure optimal tension of the belt which
transmits power from the motor to the transmission.
Depth skid:
The setting of the depth skid determines the working
depth. The deeper the rod is set, the deeper the machine
will till the earth. The correct blade depth is the "key" to
easy cultivation. The setting varies according to soil
conditions.
For best results, cultivate the soil 2-3 times in different
directions.
Cleaning after use:
The cultivator should be cleaned after use. Use the
garden hose to wash the earth and dirt off. Remove quick
grass, etc.,
from the blade shaft.
identification number should only be wiped over with a
damp cloth, otherwise it could get damaged. Avoid using
a high-pressure cleaner.
