LAzy Kate
The Martin's built-in Lazy Kate is ideal for chain-plying. If you angle
the Martin, you can use it for traditional 2-ply as well. To add tension
to the top of the bobbins, use the included Akerworks TensiTamers.
The Lazy Kate can also be used to hold your bobbins for hand-winding
a plying ball, which may be more convenient for traditional plying.
Martin comes with two Lazy Kate Axles and can hold up to four
axles. An additional set can purchased in the shop. Lazy Kate Axle Kit
includes TensiTamers.
