The Xbox System Link Cable connects two Xbox consoles together for head-to-head play. It is for use
exclusively with the Xbox™ video game system from Microsoft.
IMPORTANT! Before using this product, read the Xbox Instruction Manual for important safety information
and health warnings. Please retain both the Xbox Instruction Manual and these instructions for
future reference. The limited warranty covering this Xbox System Link Cable is contained in the Xbox
Instruction Manual.
Not all Xbox games support system link play. See the packaging or documentation for your Xbox game to
determine if it supports system link play.
To connect two Xbox consoles
1. Turn off power to both Xbox consoles.
2. Connect the Xbox System Link Cable connectors to the Ethernet port on the back of each Xbox
console.
If you need more help
Should you have any problems, do not attempt to take apart, service, or modify the Xbox System Link
Cable or Xbox console in any way. Doing so could present the risk of serious injury or death from electric
shock or fire, and it will void your warranty. Do not take your Xbox video game system or this peripheral to
your retailer for repair or service, unless instructed to do so by an Xbox Customer Support representative.
