MiVue Manager

MiVue Manager is a tool for you to view the videos recorded on a MiVue recorder.

IMPORTANT! Your computer needs MOV and AVI codecs to play the recording files.
Search online to install the required codecs.
Note: Not all features are available for every model.

Installing MiVue Manager

1. Insert the supplied DVD into your computer's DVD drive.
2. Double-click Setup.exe in the MiVue Manager folder.
3. Follow the on-screen prompts to install MiVue Manager.
Note: For Mac users: You need to install a free video codec package before playing the .AVI files.
For Mac OS X 10.7/10.8:

Download and install Perian_1.2.3.dmg from http://www.perian.org/.
For Mac OS X 10.9:

Download and install Perian_1.2.3.dmg from http://www.perian.org/. Quick Time 7 is also
required.

Playing the recording files

Note: You are advised to copy the recording files to your computer for backup and playback.
1. Do one of the following:
ƒ Connect the mini-USB end of the USB cable (not supplied) to the recorder and the
other end to a USB port on your computer.
ƒ Remove the memory card from the recorder and access the card on the computer
via a card reader.
2. Start MiVue Manager on the computer.
