SPECIAL FEATURES OF LPG VERSIONS
Starting the engine
The engine is always started using
petrol.
– For vehicles with a key ➥ 2.4.
– For vehicles with a card ➥ 2.6.
Note: if LPG mode is active when the
engine is started, the system temporar-
ily switches to "petrol" mode: the green
warning light C goes out without a beep
and the yellow warning light B comes
on, indicating that petrol mode is active.
As soon as the environmental con-
ditions are met (engine temperature
level, etc.), the system automatically
switches to LPG mode: the constant
green warning light C comes on.
Changing fuel mode during
driving
To switch from petrol mode to LPG
mode manually
Press the button 1.
The transition to LPG is made during
the first acceleration:
– the LPG level A is activated;

– the yellow B warning light goes out;
– the green warning light C flashes
rapidly to confirm that LPG mode
has been selected, then stops flash-
ing when LPG mode is activated.
To switch from LPG mode to petrol
mode manually
Release the accelerator pedal and
press the control 1.
Petrol mode is indicated by the yellow
warning light B.
To access the information and
to reset the LPG trip parameters
➥ 1.81.
While the fuel tank is empty, the
vehicle cannot start or drive in
LPG mode only.
Operation using LPG/petrol bi-fuel
requires the presence of petrol (for
starting, high accelerations, cold
temperatures, etc.).
If the orange warning light
comes on in the instrument panel
and a beep sounds, fill the petrol
tank with fuel as soon as possible.
An LPG installation on a ve-
hicle may lead to changes
to the vehicle's features,
compared to petrol ver-
sions.
This may relate to the number of
seats, mass (usable capacity) and
towing capacity.
