General Description
The Vantage 322 / LE400 is a diesel engine powered DC multi-
®
process welding power source and 120 / 240 volt AC power
generator. The engine drives a generator that supplies three
phase power for the DC welding circuit, single phase and Three
Phase power for the AC auxiliary outlets. The DC welding control
system uses state of the art Chopper Technology (CT™) for
superior welding performance.
The Vantage 322 / LE400 is fitted with a selectable VRD (Voltage
®
Reduction Device). The VRD operates in the CC-Stick mode
reducing the OCV to <13 volts, increasing operator safety when
welding is performed in environments with increased hazard of
electric shock such as wet areas and hot, humid sweaty
conditions.
