To fix error 1 on an iRobot with part number RVE-Y2 when the battery is already installed, inspect the battery for any signs of damage or leakage. Do not charge damaged or leaking batteries. If damaged, place the battery in a sealed plastic bag and recycle or dispose of it according to local environmental regulations. If the battery appears in good condition, ensure it is properly connected and charged. If the issue persists, contact customer support for further instructions.
