LEVELING

Levelingyourdryerproperlyreducesexcessnoiseand
vibration.
1.  R emovecardboardfrombeneathdryer.Placealevelontop
edgesofdryer,checkingeachsideandfront.Ifnotlevel,tip
dryerandadjustlegsupordownasshowninSteps3and
4,repeatingasnecessary.

2. Gripdryerfromtopandrockbackandforth,makingsure
allfourlegsarefirmlyonfloor.Repeat,rockingdryerfrom
sidetoside.Ifdryerrocks,gotoStep3andadjustleveling
legs.Ifallfourlegsareinfirmcontactwithfloor,goto
Step4.

3. Ifdryerisnotlevel,usea25mmor1"open-endor
adjustablewrenchtoturnjamnutsclockwise(asviewed
fromabove)onlegsuntiltheyareabout13mm(1/2")
fromthedryercabinet.Thenturnthelevelingleg
counterclockwisetolowerthedryerorclockwisetoraise
thedryer.Rechecklevelnessofdryerandthatallfourlegs
arefirmlyincontactwiththefloor.Repeatasneeded.
HELPFUL TIP: Youmaywanttopropupfrontofdryer
about102mm(4")withawoodblockorsimilarobjectthat
willsupportweightofdryer.

4. Whendryerislevelandallfourlegsarefirmlyincontact
withthefloor,usea25mmor1"open-endoradjustable
wrenchtoturnjamnutscounterclockwise(asviewedfrom
above)onlevelinglegstightlyagainstdryercabinet.
HELPFUL TIP: Youmaywanttopropdryerwithwooden
block.
