    How to Assemble Your Ceiling Fan 1. Remove the hanger ball portion from the downrod/ hanger ball assembly by loosening the set screw in the hanger ball until the ball falls freely down the downrod. Remove the pin from the downrod, then remove the Downrod hanger ball.

(Figure 6) CAUTION Light Kit The light source is designed for this specific application and can overheat if serviced by untrained personnel.

(If not used for long periods of time, remove battery to prevent damage to transmitter).
