The transceivers that you can install in your HP switch can be “hot swapped” — removed and installed after the switch is receiving power. You should disconnect the network cables from the transceivers before hot swapping them.
Page 4 Cautions ■ If the switch is to be shipped in a rack, use only an HP 10000 series rack and a rail mounting kit (5070-0145) for each switch. ■ Ensure the power source circuits are properly grounded, then use the power cord supplied with the switch to connect it to the power source.
