to lose traction. Loss of traction to the wheels or
tracks may result in sliding and a loss of braking
and steering. The machine can slide even if the
wheels or tracks are stopped.
Remove or mark obstacles such as ditches, holes,
ruts, bumps, rocks or other hidden hazards. Tall
grass can hide obstacles. Uneven terrain could
overturn the machine.
If you lose control of the machine, step off and
away from the direction of travel of the machine.
Operating the Parking
Brake
Always engage the parking brake when you stop the
machine or leave it unattended. Before each use,
check the parking brake for proper operation.
CAUTION
Children or bystanders may be injured if they
move or attempt to operate the machine while
it is unattended.
Remove the ignition key and engage the
parking brake whenever you leave the
machine unattended.

Operating the Choke

Use the choke to start a cold engine.

Pull up the choke knob to engage the choke
before using the key switch
Note:
You may need to hold the knob up when you
use the key switch.
