SECTION 2: CIRCUIT REQUIREMENTS 110V Operation Your G8693 Mini Shaper is prewired for 110 volt, single phase operation. The ⁄ approximately 2.2 amps. We strongly recom- mend fusing your Mini Shaper at 15 amps. Fusing higher will not adequately protect the motor. -

Unpacking Model G8693 Mini Shaper is Shipped complete in one carton. If you discover the machine is dam- aged after you’ve signed for delivery, and the truck and driver are gone, you will need to file a freight claim with the carrier. Save the containers and all packing materials for possible inspection by the carrier or its agent. -

Use of a Wet-Dry Vac will virtually eliminate the chance of clogging. Never leave hose connected to the machine dur- ing operation if a vac is not turned on. The hose and machine will clog with chips. -22- G8693 Mini Shaper... -

Clean frequently with Gum and Pitch Remover. The table and other non-painted surfaces on the Model G8693 should be protected against rust and pitting. Wiping the Shaper clean after every use ensures that moisture from wood dust isn’t allowed to trap moisture against bare metal sur- faces. -
