Electrical safety
• The plug from the power tool must be plugged into a properly grounded installed outlet. Never modify the plug in any way.
• Do not abuse the cord. Never use the cord for carrying, pulling or unplugging the power tool. Keep power cords away from heat, water, oil, sharp edges and
moving parts.
• Avoid bodily contact with grounded surfaces like refrigerators, pipes and radiators when using electric powered tools.
• Extension cables may not exceed 25 metres in length. The cable cross-section should be 1,5 mm2 at 230 V to allow sufficient current flow to the tool. Only
use extension cables that follow the H07RN-F specifications.
• Thin and long extension cables lead to reduced tool performance, as the motor can no longer reach its maximum speed.
• The plugs and sockets of extension cords shall be made of or covered with rubber, non-rigid PVC or other thermoplastic material of equivalent mechanical
strength.
• Ensure that any extension cable connections are dry and secure. Avoid using loose or insufficiently insulated connections. Connections must be made with
suitable materials.
• Ensure that the extension cable is carefully positioned, avoiding wet spots, sharp edges and spots where vehicles may pass through.
• Be sure to completely unwind the extension cord to avoid overheating and the risk of fire.
• Regularly check extension cables and replace them if they are damaged.
Warning! Any repairs to the electrical parts of the tool must be carried out only by a certified electrician or at an authorised service center.
