To install 600W powered 8" subwoofers to the Planet Audio P100CPA:
1. Use Subwoofer Pre-Amp Output: Connect the subwoofer RCA input to the P100CPA’s subwoofer pre-amp output labeled “Sub Pre Amp Outputs”.
2. Power Connection: Connect the subwoofer’s power wire to the car battery with an in-line fuse. Ground the subwoofer to the car chassis using a short, thick ground wire.
3. Remote Turn-On Wire: Connect the subwoofer’s remote wire to the P100CPA’s blue/white “Rem. Output (+12V, 500 mA)” to turn the subwoofer on with the head unit.
4. Speaker Settings: Use the P100CPA’s built-in EQ and subwoofer settings to adjust bass levels.
5. Do Not Bridge Outputs: As per the manual, do not bridge any outputs or chassis-ground speaker wires.
6. Use 4–8 Ohm Speakers Only: Ensure the subwoofer impedance is within this range.
Use proper fusing and consult a professional installer if needed.
