Step 11. Route the remote battery cable through the notches on the microprocessor 2 air baffle.
Attention: Make sure that the cable is not pinched and does not cover any connectors or obstruct
any components on the system board.
Step 12. Connect the other end of the remote battery cable to the remote battery cable connector on the
battery carrier.
Attention: To avoid damage to the hardware, make sure that the black dot on the remote battery
cable connector faces away from the interposer card on the adapter. Do not force the remote
battery cable into the connector.

Step 13. Install the battery on the microprocessor 2 air baffle:

Connect the battery cable to the battery cable connector on the battery carrier.
