HD-SDI Distribution System

Figure 3-3 shows how an AERO.one would be installed in a typical HD-SDI environment,
similar to that in use by the CBS and CW networks. In this case, audio and metadata are
decoded and then embedded into an HD-SDI signal which can then be routed and
switched through the plant and finally applied to the AEROMAX unit. Audio and meta-
data are de-embedded, processed, and Dolby Digital (AC-3) encoded for transmission.
