To assign a port to another VLAN profile on the router (also referred to as the Base
in this context) or satellite:
1. Launch a web browser from a computer or mobile device that is connected to your
Orbi Pro network.
2. Enter orbilogin.com.
A login window displays.
If your browser does not display a login window but displays a security warning and
does not let you proceed, see What to do if you get a browser security warning on
page 30.
3. Enter the admin user name and password.
The user name is admin. The password is the one that you set the first time that you
logged in. The user name and password are case-sensitive.
The BASIC Home page displays.
4. Select ADVANCED > Advanced Setup > VLAN / Bridge Settings.
The VLAN / Bridge Settings page displays.
For the router (Base) and each satellite, the ports display on the page:
• Blue: The ports are connected to devices that are turned on.
• Gray: The ports are either not connected or are connected to devices that are
not turned on.
5. In either the Base (router) or Satellite section, for the Ethernet port that you want to
change, select a VLAN profile from the VLAN Profile menu.
6. Click the Apply button.
Your settings are saved.
VLAN tag group as a bridge for an IPTV
device
If the devices that are connected to the router's Ethernet LAN ports include an IPTV
device, your ISP might require you to use a VLAN tag group as a bridge between the
router's WAN interface and the IPTV device. If you are subscribed to IPTV service, the
router might need to use VLAN tags to distinguish between the regular Internet traffic
and the IPTV traffic. A bridge with a VLAN tag group prevents packets that are sent
between the IPTV device and the router's WAN port from being processed through the
router's Network Address Translation (NAT) service.
