1. DEXTER CONCRETE MIXER
CONDITIONS OF APPLICATION
CONDITIONS OF APPLICATION:
The mixer is designed for operation in ambient
air temperatures between 0°C and 40°C and for
installation at altitudes of no more than 1,000 m
above M.S.L. The surrounding humidity should
be less than 50% at 40 C. It can be stored or
transported in ambient temperatures between
-25°C and 55°C.

2. SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

UNDERSTAND YOUR MIXER:
• Read and understand the owner's manual and
labels affixed to the mixer. Become familiar
with its conditions of application and limita-
tions, as well as the specific potential hazards
associated with it.
• Become familiar with the controls before
operating this mixer.
STAY ALERT:
• Do not operate the mixer while under the
influence of drugs, alcohol, or any medication
that could affect your ability to use it properly.
• Do not use this mixer when if tired or distrac-
ted from the job at hand. Pay attention to what
you are doing at all times. Use common sense.
AVOID DANGEROUS CONDITIONS:
• Make sure there is adequate surrounding
workspace.
• Keep your work area clean and well lit. Clut-
tered areas are conducive to injury. Keep the
area around the mixer clear of obstructions,
grease, oil, waste and other debris which
could cause persons fall onto moving parts.
• Only use or operate the mixer on solid, flat,
level ground that is capable of supporting the
weight of the mixer and its load, to prevent
the mixer from tipping over and use wedge
blocks on the wheels to prevent the mixer
sliding.
• Do not attempt to move the mixer when it is
loaded and/or in operation.
• This mixer is intended for the production of
concrete, mortar and plaster. It is not suitable
for mixing flammable or explosive substances.

INSPECT YOUR MIXER:
• Check your mixer before turning it on. Keep
the guards in place and in working order. Do
not plug the mixer in with the motor cover off.
• Check the tightness of all bolts, nuts, and
screws before each use, especially those secu-
ring the guards and drive mechanisms.
• Vibration during mixing may cause them to
loosen.
• Systematically check that all the adjusting
tools, shovels, hand trowels and other tools/
items of equipment have been removed from
mixer area before turning it on.
• Replace damaged, missing or broken parts
before use.
• Warning labels convey important information.
Replace any missing or damaged warning
labels.
WEAR SUITABLE CLOTHING:
• Do not wear loose clothing, gloves, neckties or
jewellery (rings, wristwatches). They can be
caught in moving parts. Protective, electrically
non-conductive gloves and non-skid footwear
are recommended when working. Wear a
protective hair covering to contain long hair,
preventing it from getting caught in machine-
ry. Wear a face or dust mask if the operation
generates dust.
• Always wear safety goggles and/or face
shields. Everyday eyeglasses only have i

GLASSE:
• Never carry the mixer by its cord or yank the
cord to disconnect it from the socket.
• Keep the cord away from heat, oil and sharp
edges.
EXTENSION CORDS:
• Extension cords must be no longer than 50
meters in length.
• The wire cross sectional area must be 1.5  mm²
on 230V to allow sufficient current flow to the
motor. Improper use of extension cords may
lead to inefficient mixer operation which can
result in overheating and motor damage.
