• Trickle-charge the battery
from time to time during the
storage period
– The battery can be recharged
with the BMW battery trickle
charger
– Charge the battery prior to
lay-ups and before restoring
to use – always comply with
the instructions for charging.
– In case of doubt ask a spe-
cialist, preferably an author-
ised BMW motorcycle dealer,
to prepare the vehicle for lay-
ing up and to carry out the
necessary battery mainte-
nance and storage
