Clock and language

Clock
Date and time
In some countries, digital broadcasts do not send
UTC - Coordinated Universal Time information. The
daylight saving change might be ignored and the TV
might show an incorrect time.
When you record programs scheduled in the TV
Guide, we recommend that you do not change the
time and date manually. In some countries, for some
network operators, the Clock setting is hidden to
avoid an incorrect clock setting.
To correct the TV clock automatically...
1 - Press  , select General
settings > Clock > Auto clock mode.
2 - Select Automatic and press OK.
3 - Press  (left) repeatedly if necessary, to close
the menu.
To set the TV clock manually...
1 - Press  , select General
settings > Clock > Auto clock mode, and
select Manual.
2 - Select Date and Time to adjust.
3 - Press  (left) repeatedly if necessary, to close
the menu.
Menu language
To change the language of the TV menus and
messages...
1 - Press  , select General
settings > Language > Menu language and
press OK.
2 - Select the language you want and press OK.
3 - Press  (left) repeatedly if necessary, to close
the menu.
CC
To switch on closed captions, press CC.
You can switch subtitles On, Off or On during
mute.
Or to show subtitles automatically when the
broadcasted program is in a different language (the
language set for the TV) select Automatic. This
setting will also show Subtitles automatically when
you mute the sound.

Universal Access
Switch on
With Universal access switched on, the TV is
prepared for use for the deaf, hard of hearing, blind,
or visually impaired people.
Switch on
If you did not switch on Universal access during the
installation, you can still enable it in Universal
access menu.
To switch on Universal access...
1 - Press  , select Universal access and
press  (right) to enter the menu.
2 - Select Universal access one step further.
3 - Select On and press OK.
4 - Press  (left) repeatedly if necessary, to close
the menu.
With Universal access switched on, the
option Universal access is added in the Options
menu.
Audio description
Switch on
Digital TV channels can broadcast special audio
commentary describing what is happening on
screen.
To be able to set audio and effects for the visually
impaired, you must first enable Audio description.
Also, before you can switch on Audio description, you
have to enable Universal access in setup menu.
With Audio description, a narrator's commentary is
added to the normal audio.
To switch on the commentary (if available)...
To switch on Audio description...
1 - Press  , select Universal access and
press  (right) to enter the menu.
2 - Select On and press OK.
