For safe operation and maintenance, symbols are moulded into various components of the machine.

The port to refuel the engine with 40:1 fuel mixture.
Position: Near the fuel cap
The port to fill with chainsaw oil, to lubricate cutting chain.
Position: near the oil cap
Engine on/off switch.
Pressing the switch to the (O) position, immediately the engine
stops.
Pressing the switch to the (I) position, engines the engine for
the starting procedure.
(O) and (I) are shown on switch button.
Position: left side of the rear handle
Operate the choke knob.
Pull out the choke knob to close the choke for a cold start.
Push in the choke knob to open the choke for a warm start.
Position: right side of the rear handle.
Adjust the oil pump.
Turn screw head anti-clockwise to increase oil flow.
Turn clockwise to decrease oil flow.
Position: Bottom of the rear handle
Fuel mixture screw
(H) = High-speed
(L) = Low-speed
(T) = Idle speed
Position: Upper left of the rear handle
Indicates the chain brake is released (white arrow) and
activated (black arrow).
Position: Front handle guard
Indicates the direction of the saw chain installation.
Position: Front of the chain cover
