This tool receives the data transmitted from a VM200, displays the width, length, height, sum of dimension, calculated volume or optional dimensional weight or barcode data, meanwhile to store the received data in storage.

  • Page 22 Two User Roles and their Applicable Usage Functions There are two user roles to login the VMView, the Administrator and General user. For the Administrator Have to entry password to login the VMView. The functions applicable to the Administrator:  All functions for the General user are applicable to the Administrator.

    8.5 Measurement Mode You can do your measurement when the VMView screen is at [Measurement Mode] page. Once the VMView receives the measured data transmitted from the VM200, it will display the output data include Width(W), Height(H), Length(L), W+H+L, calculated Volume, optional Dimensional Weight.

Once VMView receives the measured data, it will verify to confirm its correctness and completeness by the CRC16 algorithm, following to parse and convert them to readable ASCII character format, and display on the screen.

    8.9 Self Inspection What is the Inspection? It is a function to inspect whether the VM200 is in good measurement condition. When to do the Self Inspection?  In a Regular Inspection Plan We suggest you to develop a regular self-inspection plan to examine the condition of the VM200 in a regular interval, for instance, monthly.

    10. Maintenance & Trouble shooting Clean the Camera Lenses Depending on the environment, the VM200 camera lenses can become dirty with dust and/or grease. To clean the lenses use compressed air to blow off dust and debris. If more cleaning is necessary use isopropyl alcohol (or similar solution) applied with an optical grade cleaning cloth.
