HYDROSTATIC TRANSMISSION
The hydrostatic transmission is sealed at the factory and
is maintenance free. The fluid level cannot be checked
nor can the oil be changed. Always keep the area
around the transmission cooling fan free of grass and
debris at all times.
Refer to the engine manual for correct engine
storage instructions. The engine must be completely
drained of fuel to prevent gum deposits from forming
on essential carburetor parts, fuel lines and fuel
tanks.
It is not necessary to remove the battery from the
tractor for storage. However, clean the top of the
battery and make sure it has full charge. Disconnect
the negative terminal of the battery before storing
the tractor.
Store unit in a clean, dry area.
NOTE:
When storing any type of power equipment in
an unventilated or metal storage shed, care should be
taken to rustproof the equipment. Using a light oil or
silicone, coat the equipment, especially any chains,
springs, bearings and cables.
