  • Page 5 ASKOHEAT+ automa cally switches back to normal opera on a er 24 hours.    H e a t p u m p r e q u e s t A switch‐on signal of the heat pump can be connected to this poten al‐free contact 1 and 2 of plug Z3.  With the "Heatpump request", the maximum hea ng power can be switched on immediately . From  device firmware 4.3.3 or devices built a er 2022 ,  this contact can also be used for con nuous opera ‐ on. If contact 1 and 2 of plug Z3 are bridged, the device heats the water to the preset temperature of  max. 55°C.    MV‐012‐6391.2          01.04.2022       www.askoma.com    Page 5 ...
  • Page 6 A er successful connec on, the middle LED (Connec on) flashes yellow / green  (if  there is no LAN  connec on, it flashes blue).  If only one ASKOHEAT+ is installed, it can be addressed with most routers as follows in a browser  window of a terminal connected to the LAN:  p://askoheat‐eth   p://askoheat.local  In networks with several  ASKOHEAT+ or if the local host name resolu on does not (correctly) work,  the assigned IP address can be found in the router menu for most commercially available systems (the  devices are then iden fied by the name "askoheat" or, in excep onal cases, "espressif", iden fy some‐ mes only pa ent trial and error helps).    Example: 192.168.0.23 ‐> then enter this in the browser as follows: h p://192.168.0.23    An IP scanner can also provide good service.  If the device website can be seen a er entering the IP address or the standard host  na‐ mes,  ASKOHEAT+ can be set up.   MV‐012‐6391.2          01.04.2022       www.askoma.com    Page 6 ...
