Then the UTN (UTN = USB to Network) func- tionality and the corresponding software tool 'SEH UTN Manager' establish a virtual USB connection between USB device and client. The USB device can be used as if it were connected locally.

  • Page 15 Features The software is installed on all clients that are meant to access a USB device in the network. After the SEH UTN Manager is started, the network is scanned for connected UTN servers. All UTN servers found and their connected USB devices are displayed in the 'network list' .
