Raising the Machine

Whenever you raise the rear of the machine, support
the machine under the rear bracket.

Do not support the machine under
the batteries; otherwise, you could damage the
batteries.

Removing the Rear Cover

1. Park the machine on a level surface, disengage
the blade-control switch, and move the
motion-control levers outward to the P
position.
2. Shut off the machine, remove the key, and wait
for all moving parts to stop before leaving the
operating position.
3. Turn the battery-disconnect switch to the O
position.
4. Remove the 8 screws securing the rear cover.
5. Remove the cover.
