OPERAZIONE PRELIMINARI ALL’UTILIZZO MONTAGGIO/SMONTAGGIO ASTINE ATTENZIONE! Durante la raccolta, inserire le astine all’interno della vegetazione della pianta per circa 10cm. Un inserimento maggiore non aumenta la capacità di raccolta, ma può provocare la rottura delle astine. Collocare la macchina in un luogo stabile, inserire le viti Ø4 e le rispettive rondelle e dadi fornite in dotazione nelle apposite sedi come in fig. -

OPERAZIONI PRELIMINARI ALL’UTILIZZO MONTAGGIO DELLA PROLUNGA-MANOPOLA PERICOLO! Per limitare la propagazione delle vibrazioni al sistema mano-braccio, si raccomanda di non stringere eccessivamente la macchina fra le mani, per ridurre l’effetto delle vibrazioni e prevenire la sindrome del dito bianco. Per limitare l’insorgere di questo fenomeno si consiglia di intervallare l’utilizzo della macchina con una pausa di 10 min ogni 2 ore di utilizzo. - Page 16 REGOLAZIONE DEL SISTEMA DI BLOCCAGGIO ASTA TELESCOPICA Nei modelli telescopici è possibile regolare l’estensione dell’asta in funzione delle necessità di lavorazione Se si dispone di un modello telescopico procedere nel seguente modo: 1. COLLEGAMENTO A BATTERIA AUTOMOTIVE PERICOLO! Attenersi scupolosamente alle istruzioni di montaggio. Un collegamento diverso da quello rappresentato nel seguente paragrafo può comportare danni IRREVERSIBILI all’utensile. Non collegare mai l’utensile, a batterie di automobili o di mezzi agricoli, o qualsiasi fonte di energia che non sia una batteria automotive scollegata da ogni fonte di energia. -

TRASPORTO Quando si trasporta l’utensile è necessario spegnere la macchina, scollegare la batteria anche per tragitti brevi, trasportare l’utensile in maniera bilanciata tenendolo per lo stelo e lontano dal corpo per evitare urto con le astine o avviamento accidentale. Spostare l’interruttore in posizione (O) durante gli spostamenti tra una pianta e l’altra. -

OFF. DESCRIZIONE DEL SISTEMA DI AVVIAMENTO L’abbacchiatore JULIA 12V può essere utilizzato da operatori destrimano e mancini. Tenere sempre l’abbacchiatore con la mano destra-destrimano/sinistra-mancini sull’impugnatura (4) e l’altra mano sull’asta per dare direzionalità all’utensile. -

OPERAZIONE PER LA RACCOLTA DELLA FRUTTA PENDENTE ATTENZIONE! L’utensile è dotato di un motore con spazzole in corrente continua, evitare di far bloccare i pettini di raccolta durante le lavorazioni in quanto potrebbero riscaldarsi le lamelle del sistema e comprometterne l’integrità del motore. - Page 21 COME EFFETTUARE LA RACCOLTA Per permettere all’utensile di poter lavorare in maniera opportuna durante le operazioni di raccolta, seguire le seguenti istruzioni: • Procedere con la raccolta delle drupacee sui rami inferiori effettuando dei movimenti dall’alto verso il basso • Procedere con la raccolta delle drupacee sui rami superiori procedendo dall’alto verso il basso Eseguire queste operazioni partendo dai rami vicini al tronco e spostandosi, gradualmente verso l’esterno della pianta.

- Page 32 INTRODUCTION The AUSONIA Julia harvester, illustrated in this manual, is designed to be used in agriculture by a single operator, for harvesting hanging fruit belonging to the drupe family, such as olives, pistachios and almonds. The AUSONIA Julia harvester, by means of the oscillatory movement of the harvesting comb, guarantees the shaking of the tree blades allowing the hanging fruit to fall, this movement can lead to the projection of objects towards the operator or can trigger injuries for the operator.

- Page 40 PRE-USE PROCEDURES ASSEMBLY/DISASSEMBLY OF RODS WARNING! During harvesting, insert the rods about 10 cm into the vegetation of the plant. Deeper insertion does not increase harvesting capacity, but may cause the rods to break. Place the machine in a stable place, insert the screws Ø4 and the respective washers and nuts supplied in the appropriate seats as in fig 1.
- Page 41 PRE-USE PROCEDURES ASSEMBLY OF THE KNOB EXTENSION DANGER! It is recommended not to grip the machine too tightly between thehands to limit vibration propagation to the hand-arm system, to reduce the effect of vibrations and prevent white finger syndrome. It is advisable to alternate the use of the machine with a break of 10 minutes every 2 hours of use to limit the occurrence of this phenomenon.
- Page 42 ADJUSTMENT OF THE TELESCOPIC ROD LOCKING SYSTEM In the telescopic models it is possible to adjust the extension of the rod according to the working requirements. If you have a telescopic model, proceed as follows: 1. Open the extension tightening lever (7) on the rod. 2.

Any connection other than that shown in the following paragraph may result in IRREVERSIBLE damage to the tool. Never connect the tool to car or farm battery, or any power source other than an automotive battery disconnected from any power source.
- Page 44 TRANSPORT Keep the machine switched off when transporting the tool, disconnect the battery even for short journeys, transport the tool in a balanced manner by holding it by the shaft and away from the body to avoid collision with the rods or accidental start-up. Move the switch to position (O) when moving between one plant and another.
- Page 45 OFF position. START SYSTEM DESCRIPTION The JULIA 12V harvester can be used by right-handed and left-handed operators. Always hold the harvester with the right-hand-trim/left-hand-manholes on the handle (4) and the other hand on the rod to give directionality to the tool.

Avoid having the harvesting combs blocked during processing as this could heat up the blades of the system and compromise the integrity of the motor.
