With the mobile data collector, you have flexibility with where to place the unit. The
preferred placement is in the passenger seat with the seat belt fastened through the straps
on the carrying case (Part No: 13125 001).
Plugging in the Power Cable
Complete the following steps to connect the vehicle power supply power cable to the mobile
data collector and plug it into the vehicle power supply receptacle.
1. Start the vehicle.
It is very important to first start the vehicle before connecting the cable.
