Mobile Data Collector Overview
Neptune's mobile data collector is a portable collection device for automatic meter reading
that is used in conjunction with a utility-supplied smartphone or tablet and the
Neptune 360 Mobile app. The data collected is uploaded to the Neptune 360 head-end
system and ultimately transferred to the utility's billing system.
The mobile data collector features the following:
Durable construction in a compact design for everyday use in any vehicle.

Map view with GPS capability in the Neptune 360 Mobile app.

Wireless and remote route synchronization.

Bluetooth connectivity to smartphones and tablets.

IR and RF activated data logging and off-cycle reading.
