INSTALLING THE PHONE

INSTALLING THE PHONE

Your phone should be placed on a level surface or you can mount it on a wall.

CONNECTING THE TELEPHONE

  1. Plug the coiled cord into the jack on the handset.
  2. Plug the long straight line cord into a modular wall telephone jack.
  3. Set the RINGER switch on the base to HI.
    + = HI
    = MID
    - = LOW

WALLMOUNTING THE PHONE

  1. Push the Wall mounting hook up (12) and out with your thumb, turn it over, and replace it in the slot on the base.
  2. Drill the hole as draft.
  3. Slip the mounting holes (on the bottom of the base) over the wall plate posts and firmly slide the unit down into place.

GENERAL SETTINGS (In Idle Mode)

Setting date and time:

  • MENU/ or to SET 1 DATE / MENU / or /MENU.... to enter Year, Month, Day, Hour and Minute / MENU.

Setting local area code:

  • MENU/ or to SET 2 CODE / MENU / or /MENU.... to enter your area code / MENU.

Setting long distance code:

  • MENU/ or to SET 3 PCODE / MENU / or to enter your long distance code / MENU.

Setting Flash time to operate correctly on your network:

  • MENU/ or SET 4 FLASH/ MENU / or to select FLASH 90/ 110 / 300/600 or1000/ MENU.

Setting TONE or PULSE (In Idle Mode):

  • Hold * button for 3 seconds to select Tone or Pulse mode.

Setting CONTRAST (In Idle Mode):

  • Press R button until desire contrast level is reached.

MAKE A CALL

  • Redial a number:
    1. or
    2. The last number called is automatically redialed.
  • From call log list*:
    1. or to select the caller number
  • From direct memories:
    1. or

REVIEW CALLER ID NUMBER (In Idle Mode)

or , to review caller number.

DELETE CALLER ID NUMBER (In Idle Mode)

  • Delete a Caller ID number: or to select the number /
  • Delete all Caller ID number: or to select Caller ID number / long press to delete all Caller ID number.

STORE NUMBER (In Idle Mode)

  • Store a telephone number: 0...9 to input number / MENU / 0...9 to select memory location.
  • Store an incoming call number: or to select the number / MENU / 0...9 to select memory location
  • Store an outgoing number: to select the number /MENU / 0...9 to select memory location

REVIEW AND DIAL BACK AN OUTGOING NUMBER

  • Review an outgoing number (In Idle Mode): to select number
  • Dial back an outgoing number (In Idle Mode): to select number /

DELETE OUTGOING NUMBER

  • Delete an outgoing number (In Idle Mode): to select number/
  • Delete all outgoing number (In Idle Mode): to select number/ long press
