Steps
1. Verify if the DIMM thermal pad is warpage. If yes, then press the pad to secure it properly to the system board.
2. Remove the blue film on the DIMM thermal pad.
3. Align the notch on the memory module with the tab on the memory-module slot.
4. Slide the memory module firmly into the slot at an angle and press the memory module down until it clicks into place.
NOTE:
If you do not hear the click, remove the memory module and reinstall it.
NOTE:
Repeat step 3 to 4 when installing more than one memory module in your computer.
CAUTION:
To prevent damage to the memory module, hold the memory module by the edges. Do not touch
the components on the memory module.
