6. MAINTENANCE Take out the air-in grill (together with the air filter shown in Fig.6-1). Pull the air-in grill down at 45 and lift it up to take out the grill. CAUTION Dismantle the air filter. Before you clean the air conditioner, be sure the power supply is off. -

- Page 10 TECHNICAL BULLETIN Heat Sink Compound (Thermal Paste) Make sure to use Heat Sink Compound (not provided) when replacing Mini-Split electronic boards. Clean up thoroughly old paste on chips located underneath the board, and radiator (fin surface). Evenly spread new paste on chips and radiator, and gently screw board back on radiator to maximize heat exchange.
