NOTICE
More than 75% of the control modules returned to the factory are fully
functional. Before diagnosing a bad control module, be sure to
disconnect and reconnect each wire/wire harness.

6.10.1 Combination Oven

On the HBL57M52UC combination oven, the microwave must be
removed in order to reach the access panel on the top front of the
HBL57M52UCC wall oven housing.
 CAUTION
When servicing the standard wall oven component of an
HBL57M52UC combination oven, the microwave oven must be
removed in order to reach the access panel on the top front of the
HBL57M52UCC wall oven housing. To safely remove and reinstall
the microwave, two people are required.

6.10.2 Replacing the Control Module or Daughter Board

1. Remove power to the oven.
2. Remove the screws securing the right and left side trim pieces
to the cabinetry.
3. Carefully slide the combination unit completely out of the
cabinet cutout.
4. Disconnect the feeder wires from the terminal block: only
necessary if a work table is not nearby, and the 5' length of
conduit/wire will not be sufficient.
5. Remove the front decorative trim that is secured to the
universal brackets with two screws.
6. Unplug the microwave's 120VAC plug from the receptacle.
7. Remove the six screws which secure the microwave to the
right and left universal brackets.
8. Carefully lift the microwave off the universal brackets, and set
aside.
9. Proceed to step 13.
10. Remove power to the oven.
11. Remove the screws securing the right and left side trim pieces
to the cabinetry.
12. Carefully slide the oven out of the cutout ~16".
13. Locate the Service Guide (wire diagram) attached to the inside
of the access panel.
