Locking the Keypad

Locking the keypad helps avoid accidental key presses without blocking
incoming calls or messages. This feature can only be activated when
your phone is in Standby mode.
To lock your keypad:
From the Standby mode, press
1.
Highlight
2.
Key Guard
OR
From the Standby mode, press and hold
1.

Unlocking the Keypad

Press and hold
1.

Changing the Lock Code

To change your lock code:
From the Security Menu display (See "Accessing the Security Menu"

Lock Code
Enter new lock code "1234", for example.

Re-enter your new lock code.

Restricting Calls

You can restrict which phone numbers you can receive calls from or dial.
(The Restrict Calls setting does not apply to calls made to 911 or
Sprint PCS Customer Care.)
To restrict calls:
From the Security Menu display (See "Accessing the Security Menu"
