Trouble shooting
Symptom
Motor does not start
Motor stops
Pump pressure too high
Pump pressure varies up
and down
Pump pressure too high
Pressure irregular
Pressure too low, but regular
Oil is dripping out
Motor buzzes, but does not start
Machine leaks water
Machine is only running in
by-pass mode
External cause
Fuse blown.
Plug defective.
Cable defective.
Fuse blows
(because of other consumption at
the same time or a too long exten-
sion cable)
Nozzle partly clogged up.
Nozzle partly clogged up, bow on
hose.
Too long/many extension hoses.
Nozzle partly clogged up or wrong.
Air in the inlet hose.
Inadequate water supply.
Nozzle worn, or wrong.
NB! Accessories normally cause a
lower pressure.
Too low mains voltage.
Loss of voltage because of an ex-
tension cable with inadequate cross
section or a too long extension cable.
The high pressure washer has been
inactive for too long.
Inlet coupling not tightened.
By-pass valve stuck.
Internal cause
Switch defective.
Motor defective.
Internal wires defective.
Check that mains voltage
corresponds to specifi cations.
Water inlet fi lter clogged up.
Leaky/worn pressure or suction
valves.
Valve cone leaky or stuck in open
position .
Oil seals worn.
Oil plug loose.
Rotor stuck.
Pressurized water in the pump -
activate the spray handle.
Leaky/worn water sleeves.
Water inlet coupling leaky in thread
due to heat in the by-pass operation
(possibly new pump)
Activate spray handle when
machine starts. See to it that the
machine has cooled. Activate seve-
ral times. Let the machine run with
activated spray handle for 1 minute.
