the ASC warning lamp's display

Switching the ASC

Press and hold button 1 until
the ASC warning lamp's display
changes.
ASC warning lamp goes
out; if self-diagnosis has
not been completed, it begins to
flash.
Release button 1 within two
seconds.
ASC warning lamp remains
off or continues to flash.
The ASC function is switched
on.
As an alternative, the ignition
can also be switched off and
then on again.
If the ASC warning lamp
lights up after switching
the ignition off and on followed
by continued driving over 3 mph
(5 km/h), an ASC error has
occurred.
