Options Setup

You can set the TV aspect ratio and video format.

In Stop mode, press the Setup
button.

Press button to select
"OPTION".

Use buttons to move to a
submenu.

Press button to select the
desired item.
TV
Select this to view 16:9 ratio movies on a 4:3 ratio TV.
LANGUAGE AUDIO

Select this to play wide DVDs in the letter box

mod with black strips at the top and bottom.
Select this to play wide DVDs in the pan and
4:3PS
scan mode with the sides of the picture cut off.
Select this to play wide DVDs in the full-screen
WIDE
mode with the top and bottom of the screen cut off.
However, you cannot view in the full-screen mode if the movie on
a disc is in 4:3 ratio.
VIDEO MODE
Each country has a different video format standard .
For normal playback, the video format of the disc must be
the same as the video format of your TV .
For example, you will not be able to play a PAL encoded disc
on an NTSC TV.

Rating Level/Password Setup

Use this to restrict playback of adult or violent DVDs you do not
want children to view.

In Stop mode, press the Setup
button.

Use buttons to select
"PARENTAL".

Use buttons to move
to a submenu.

Use the Numeric buttons (0-9)
to enter the password.
By default, the password is set
to "7890".
Password Setup
1. Press button to move to "NEW
PASSWORD" and then use the Numeric
buttons (0-9) to enter a new password.

Press button to move to
"CONFIRM PASSWORD" and then use
re-enter your new password.

Use button to move to "RATING
LEVEL".

Press button to select the
desired rating level.
Rating Level can be set between
0 and 8 levels.
If you have selected Level 6, you
cannot view DVDs with Level 7
or higher.
If you have forgotten your password
While the player is in NO DISC mode, hold the main unit's Stop(
for longer than 5 seconds.
"INITIAL" appears on the display and all settings will return to
the default values.
