Photo Mode : Setting the Capturing Options
Setting the Program AE (Programmed Auto Exposure)
Program AE modes are preset automatic exposure modes based
upon an internal computer program. Program AE allows you to adjust
the aperture setting to suit different conditions.
1. Press the [POWER] button to turn on the
Memory Camcorder.
◆ The Movie Record screen appears.
2. Set the
Photo
mode by pressing the [MODE]
button.
◆ The Photo Capture screen appears.
3. Press the [MENU] button.
Move the [Joystick] left / right to select
<Program AE>.
4. Move the [Joystick] up / down to select an
option, and then press the [Joystick(OK)].
Auto balances between the subject and
background to get the best result.
Auto
The shutter speed automatically varies from
1/60 to 1/250 per second depending on the
scene.
For recording fast-moving people or objects.
Sports
It is suitable for sports events
and recording outside in the car.
Compensates for a subject that appears too
bright under strong direct light
Spotlight
such as spotlight. It is suitable for concerts
and school performances.
Use when the light is very strong such as
Sand/Snow
on the beach or in the snow.
5. Press the [MENU] button to exit the menu.
◆ The selected function icon is displayed.
◆ If you select <Auto>, no icon is displayed.
[ Note ]
✤ While the menu screen is displayed, pressing the
[Record / Stop] button will move to Photo Capture
mode.

Réglage de la fonction Program AE (Exposition automatique programmée)
Les modes Program AE sont des modes d'exposition automatique gérés
par un programme d'ordinateur intégré. La fonction Program AE vous
permet d'adapter l'ouverture de l'obturateur aux conditions de la prise de
photo.

1. Appuyez sur la touche [POWER] pour mettre le
caméscope sous tension.
◆ L'écran Movie Record apparaît.
2. Réglez le mode
Photo
en appuyant sur la touche
[MODE].
◆ L'écran Photo Capture apparaît.
3. Déplacez le [Joystick] vers la gauche ou vers la
droite pour sélectionner <Program AE>.
4. Déplacez le [Joystick] vers le haut ou vers le bas
pour sélectionner une option, puis appuyez sur
[Joystick(OK)].
L'équilibre se fait automatiquement entre le sujet et
l'arrière-plan pour parvenir au meilleur résultat. La
Auto
vitesse d'obturation s'ajuste automatiquement entre
1/60 et 1/250 de seconde selon la scène.
Permet d'enregistrer les mouvements rapides de
personnes ou d'objets. Cette fonction convient

particulièrement aux manifestations sportives et aux
enregistrements réalisés depuis l'intérieur d'une
voiture.
Permet de compenser une trop forte luminosité due
à une exposition directe à une puissante source d'
Spotlight
éclairage (projecteur, par exemple). Cette fonction
convient particulièrement aux concerts et aux
représentations scolaires.
Utile lorsque la lumière est crue, comme sur une
Sand/Snow
plage ou dans un paysage enneigé.
5. Appuyez sur la touche [MENU] pour quitter le
menu.
◆ L'icône de l'option sélectionnée s'affiche.
◆ Si vous sélectionnez le mode <Auto>, aucune
icône ne s'affiche.
[ Remarque ]
✤ Si vous appuyez sur la touche [Record / Stop]
pendant que l'écran menu est affiché, l'appareil
passe en mode Photo Capture.
