Movie Mode : Setting the Recording Options

Setting the Program AE (Programmed Auto Exposure)

Program AE modes are preset automatic exposure modes based upon
an internal computer program. It allows you to adjust
the aperture setting to suit different conditions.
1. Press the [POWER] button to turn on the
Memory Camcorder.
◆ The Movie Record screen appears.
2. Press the [MENU] button.
Move the [Joystick] left / right to select
<Program AE>.
3. Move the [Joystick] up / down to select an
option, and then press the [Joystick(OK)].
Auto balances between the subject and
background to get the best result.
Auto The shutter speed automatically varies from
1/60 to 1/250 per second depending on the
scene.
For recording fast-moving people or objects.
Sports It is suitable for sports events and recording
outside in the car.
Compensates for a subject that appears
too bright under strong direct light such as
Spotlight
spotlight. It is suitable for concerts and school
performances.
Sand/Snow Use when the light is very strong such as on
the beach or in the snow.
4. Press the [MENU] button to exit the menu.
◆ The selected function icon is displayed.
◆ If <Auto> is selected, no icon will be displayed.
[ Note ]
✤ While the menu screen is displayed, pressing the
[Record / Stop] button will move to Movie Record
mode.

Les modes Program AE sont des modes d'exposition
automatique gérés par un programme d'ordinateur
intégré. Cette fonction vous permet d'adapter la
fenêtre aux conditions de la prise de photo.
1. Appuyez sur la touche [POWER] pour mettre
le caméscope sous tension.
◆ L'écran Movie Record apparaît.
2. Appuyez sur la touche [MENU].
Déplacez le [Joystick] vers la gauche ou vers
la droite pour sélectionner <Program AE>.
3. Déplacez le [Joystick] vers le haut ou vers
le bas pour sélectionner une option, puis
appuyez sur [Joystick(OK)].
L'équilibre se fait automatiquement entre
le sujet et l'arrière-plan pour parvenir au
Auto meilleur résultat. La vitesse d'obturation s'
ajuste automatiquement entre 1/60 et 1/250 de
seconde selon la scène.
Permet d'enregistrer les mouvements rapides
de personnes ou d'objets. Cette fonction
Sports convient particulièrement aux manifestations
sportives et aux enregistrements réalisés depuis
l'intérieur d'une voiture.
Permet de compenser une trop forte luminosité
due à une exposition directe à une puissante
Spotlight
source d'éclairage (projecteur, par exemple).
Cette fonction convient particulièrement aux
concerts et aux représentations scolaires.
Utile lorsque la lumière est crue, comme sur
Sand/Snow
une plage ou dans un paysage enneigé.
4. Appuyez sur la touche [MENU] pour quitter le
menu.
◆ L'icône de l'option sélectionnée s'affiche.
◆ Si vous avez sélectionné <Auto> , aucun
icône ne s'affiche.
[ Remarque ]
✤ Si vous appuyez sur la touche [Record / Stop]
pendant que l'écran menu est affiché, l'appareil
passe en mode Movie Record.
