Skids and Height Adjustment
Figure 2-6: Inlet Hose, Drain Hose, and Supply Lead
Skids are provided to protect floor coverings from damage caused when
the dishwasher is removed from its position in a row of kitchen furniture.
On built-under models, height adjustments to the rear feet are carried out
at the front with the aid of the worm gear integrated into the skids. It is,
however, recommended to adjust the rear feet to within approx. 2 mm
prior to installing the dishwasher.
Clip the skids onto the feet with the worm gear to the rear.
Push the dishwasher into position.
Lay the inlet hose, the drain hose and the supply lead through the
aperture in the base of the Miele sink base unit taking care to avoid kinks.
If the dishwasher is fitted in a non-Miele kitchen unit, a 6 x 11 cm access
hold should be provided.
Do not connect up the appliance to the electricity and water supplies
before it has been leveled, adjusted and firmly secured.
