    TS-x73U User Guide 1. Preface About This Guide This guide provides information on the QNAP TS-x73U NAS and step-by-step instructions on installing the hardware. It also provides instructions on basic operations and troubleshooting information. Audience This document is intended for consumers and storage administrators.     PCIe expansion card. QNAP-branded expansion cards purchased from the company website are shipped with the brackets necessary to fit all QNAP NAS models. The TS-873U, TS-873U-RP,TS-1273U, and TS-1273U-RP use low- profile brackets, and the TS-1673U and TS-1673U-RP use full-height brackets.

  • Page 34 To use SAS expansion units, you must install an SAS-12G2E storage expansion card on the NAS and then connect the expansion units using mini-SAS SFF-8644 cables. You can purchase storage expansion accessories from QNAP or an authorized reseller. For details, go to https://shop.qnap.com/.
