14.2 Malfunction table

Possible cause
Insufficient air bleeding of the hydraulic system
Output speed too high
Improper mounting of the axial piston unit
Improper mounting of attachments, hydraulic
lines or improper installation of the coupling
Mechanical damage to the axial piston unit
(e.g., bearing damage)
Bearings worn
Insufficient air bleeding of the hydraulic system
Faulty mechanical output drive (e.g., defective
coupling)
Drive power too low
Wear or mechanical damage to the axial piston
unit
Drive unit defective (e.g., hydraulic pump)
Insufficient air bleeding of the hydraulic system
Insufficient flow in hydraulic pump
Hydraulic fluid not in optimum viscosity range
Wear or mechanical damage to the axial piston
motor
Wear or mechanical damage to the hydraulic
pump
Wrong direction of rotation
Remedy
Fill axial piston unit, suction line for the
hydraulic pump and the reservoir
Completely air bleed axial piston unit and
hydraulic system
Check correct installation position
Machine/system manufacturer: reduce output
speed
Check the mounting of the axial piston
unit according to the specifications of the
machine/system manufacturer (observe
tightening torques)
Mount attachments according to the
information provided by the coupling or fitting
manufacturer
Replace axial piston unit
