Failure to obey these warnings could result in death or serious injury.
Always disconnect the ground cable from the battery before performing any installation work. Follow the
battery manufacturer's instructions and safety precautions for safe battery handling.
CAUTION! Risk of injury
Failure to obey these cautions could result in minor or moderate injury.
• Secure the parts of the parking aid installed in the vehicle in such a way that they cannot become
loose under any circumstances (sudden braking, accidents) and cause injuries to the vehicle occu-
pants.
• Do not mount any part of the parking aid where an airbag can open.
• The parking aid is intended as an additional aid and does not release the driver from the obligation
to exercise the necessary care when maneuvering.
NOTICE! Damage hazard
• Do not expose the control electronics to moisture, dust or heat.
• Ensure that the sensors do not cover signal lamps.
• Ensure that the plug connections of the sensors are lightly greased on the inside.
Note
• When installing the sensors, ensure that no objects attached to the vehicle are within the detection
range of the sensors.
• Installing the parking aid can cause problems on vehicles with LED tail lights.
• Use suitable adapters to install the sensors on metal bumpers (accessories).
