Adjusting embroidery settings

The settings for embroidery speed and the upper thread tension can be
adjusted in the same way like the settings for sewing. (see page 46)

when changing the thread color the automatic cut of the thread is activated
or deactivated

to turn automatic thread cutter on or off

activate or deactive securing stitches. Standard = activated
i.e. after selecting an embroidery motif or cutting the threads using the
automatic thread cutter will trigger the stitching of 3 securing stitches
function is inactive = no securing stitches will be stitched, i.e. the lower
thread must be taken up either manually (handwheel) or by «back heel
kicking» the foot control. The threads must be held when starting to
embroider

to calibrate the hoop
Calibrating the hoop
The hoop calibration adjusts the needle to the center of the hoop. Adjustments
can only be done if the embroidery module is attached.
select the required hoop and follow the instructions on the screen
place embroidery template into the embroidery hoop
the hoop is checked and the needle positioned to the center
if the needle is not positioned exactly in the center of the embroidery
template, it has to be centered by using the arrow icons

until the selection menu appears
the adjustment is saved
Place the fabric in the embroidery hoop. The embroidery template is
located well in the hoop.
