Initial installation
Follow the steps below one by one when using the TV for the fi rst time. Some steps may not be necessary depending on
your TV installation and connection.
Connect an antenna cable to the antenna terminal.

Viewing the Built-in Operation Manual
Press e-manual on the remote control unit to display
operation information on the screen.
To search for an item from the table of contents, and to
search for a particular term and to fi nd troubleshooting
information, press e-manual while watching the TV and
then select the applicable item from the manual cover
page that appears.

Press e-manual while watching the TV.
This displays the built-in operation manual screen.

When you select contents, its page will be displayed.

Troubleshooting
The problems described below are not always caused by malfunctions. Check the TV again before having the TV serviced.
Problem
• No power.
• Remote control unit does
not operate.
• No picture.
• No sound.
CLEARING THE PASSWORD
If you forget the password, clear the password using the following procedure.

From the HOME screen, select "Settings" > "Security & Restrictions" > "Parental Control" > "Password", and then
press
(ENTER) and the password input screen will display.

Enter "3001" using 0 – 9, select "Disable" in the password settings, and then select "Enable" to reset password.

Select "Back to settings".

Select "Password" then select "Enable" to set password for parental control.

Enter the 4-digit number as a password using 0 – 9, and then enter the same 4-digit to confi rm. The new password
is now set.

• This mark indicates the product operates on AC Voltage.
• This mark indicates a class II or double insulated electrical appliance wherein the product does not require a safety
connection to electrical earth (ground).

Possible Solution
• Check if you pressed POWER on the remote control unit.
• Is the AC cord disconnected?
• Has the power been turned on?
• Are batteries inserted with polarity (+, –) aligned?
• Is connection to other components correct?
• Is connection to other components correct?
