Lock screen and Banners: Allows you to select the notification display method.

Notification tone: Allows you to change the notification tone and set a vibration pattern.

Allow interruptions: When you enable Allow interruptions for an app, your device will

still be able to receive notifications from this app in Do Not Disturb mode.
Applying specific modes for different types of notifications: In the NOTIFICATION TYPE
•
section, touch a specific option (like Service notifications) to enable or disable this type of
notification for the app. You can also set specific notification tones and notification display
methods for each type of notification.
The notification types may vary by app.
You can also swipe down from the upper left edge of the screen to display Notification Panel,
swipe left on a notification, and go to
notifications.
Hide Content of Notifications on the Lock Screen
To enable this feature:
Go to Settings > Notifications & status bar, and enableHide notification content.
Notifications Turn on Screen
Go to Settings > Notifications & status bar, and enableWake screen. Your device will then
automatically turn on the lock screen when it receives a notification.
Disable App Notifications
If you do not want to be disturbed by notifications from an app, perform either of the
following:
After you receive a notification from the app, swipe left on it in the notification panel, and

go to > Disable notifications.
Go to Settings > Notifications & status bar, locate and touch the app for which you want

to disable notifications, then disable Allow notifications.
Go to Settings > Notifications & status bar > Manage all, and turn off the switch next to

the app.
Set the Status Bar to Simple Display
Go to Settings > Notifications & status bar > Status bar, and enableSimple display. After
doing so, only the following frequently-used icons will display on the device status bar by
default: time, Wi-Fi network, mobile signal, and battery level.
Display the Network Provider's Name and Network Speed
Go to Settings > Notifications & status bar > Status bar, and enable Show network
provider name and Show network speed as needed, to reveal the network provider's
information and Internet access speed.
